Hello every one. This is Somrita about to write a experience of a trip of Jammu & Kashmir. So I think you guys will definately love to read my experience. So I am starting with my first blog. Hope you all will like it. Thanks In Advance.
It was 28 th May, 2013 our journey was started from Howrah Station, Kolkata, West Bengal, India by Amritsar Mail. That day train was late by 1 and half hour. I and small brother( my maternal uncle's son) was very much excited and also very angry because train was late :( . So finally instead of starting 7:10 p.m it will start at 8:30 p.m. our journey started. After 24 hours journey we have reached Amritsar at 10:00 a.m . Then we have been hired a big auto, because we were 8 persons in our group. Auto driver taken out us and reached infront of Golden temple. Some miss understanding was happened about launch and refreshment .so that we have to wait 2 hours outside the Golden Temple waiting room then our male members my two maternal uncles and my father went out to search a Hotel to take rest because our plan was to viait Golden Temple, Wagha Border, Jalinwala bagh and that day night we had bus ticket to go Katra(Jammu) so. After taken some rest and refreshment at 4:00 p.m we have started our small trip to visit all that place first we went to Wagha Border, it was horrible experienced there I did not like the management of that. A huge crowd was there OmG :( . After pushing to each other we ride that gallery my mom, maternal aunt feeling seek inside that crowd, and my maternal Grand mother not in a position to win that crowd. Its horrible. After watching some activity we came back to our car where my father, my 2 Uncles were waiting and also my small brother. After that we came to Golden Temple and we enjoyed there it was 7: 00 p.m already so dont have time too much to spend at Temple because our bus time was 10:00 p.m. So very quickly roamed and coming back to hotel and packed bags and check out and went to bus stop. At 10:00 p.m srarting journey for Katra. Become very excited but also very tired. So at 6:00 a.m we have reached Katra . Room was booked there. We Have take lots of rest and nap because our trecking for Vaishno devi will be startde by 6:00 p.m :) feeling awesome. Then after taking aloo paratha I my two uncles went for take permission to treck Vaishno Devi. After that we started our treck it was 16 k.m total 32 k.m checkin and check out. My mom my small bro and my grand mom went by horse ride. And we means I , my father, 2 uncles and aunty treck by walk. It was amazing treck. We had lots of fun. After 5 hours treck just we saw the milestone and feeling happy that only 5 km lefts if we did not went via ArdhaKumari and another one is 6 k.m if we went via ArdhaKumari. There two roads are divided. We have decide to go via ArdhaKumari, and also decide to go inside That but it was huge line there. So we have take some rest there take some jalebi and samosha ;) :) . And again started walking and reached at 12:00 a.m. then 15 minutes we have to find out my mom, grand mom and bro they were waiting for us. After that we have enter inside. It was very nice. After visiting we have taken dinner and start again to come back it was 3:00 a.m. we have reached at 6:00 am. Take rest at hotel and we have booked travera for our kashmir trip that uncle has come and we have depart from there at 10:00 a.m and started journey for kashmir :) :) :). It was awesome feeling after 7,8 hours continuous walk we didnt have even any body pain. Extra energy gathered that time may be ;) .After that we have started for Kashmir for Shrinagar. Gulam(our guide our trip organizer who has came with his own car) has instructed us about our trip. In Jammu Shrinagar highway we have travelling that time it was fabulous journey every steps was awesome. I have tasted every step of my journey. Now Patni Top has come but we did not get down from the car to visit, because we have become very much tired. the road of Jammu Srinagar highway is 633 km from katra to srinagar. Our one and only guide Gulam guide us how he make the tour plan for us. Some times besides the road we have taken rest with stopping our cars because driver was very sleepy so ..in the way first he show us a old tunnle which is destroyed by that rocks.. Its name is "khooni nala" why it is khooni nala because when that tunnel was there that time very much of land slides happend so once one engineer has came and he binded that rock with strong iron string. After 1 hour we have reached the banihal tunnel :). Gulam told to us after crossing this tunnel Kashmir will start. And that banihal tunnel is called shetani nala because at the time of winter snow slides happend every time. It was 30 minutes to cross that tunnel. Just after coming out that tunnel OMG it was outstanding view of Kashmir . Whole kashmir view with snowy hills it was captured in my eyes till now.after coming kashmir between 3 hours we have reached Srinagar finally . Our hotel was booked at Lalchowk court road beside ghantaghar. That day almost 9:00 p.m we have reached and slept. Was terribly tired all of us. .To be continued..........
